Jazz Fest

Jazz Fest was a fun time, per usual. New Orleans is such an amazing city, but it does tend to kick you in the butt.  Between all the salt, fabulous food and alcohol, I'm definitely in need of a detox!  My college roommate, Laura lives in NOLA, so Sarah and I headed down for the first weekend of Jazz Fest and saw some amazing acts.  Some of my faves were Johnnyswim, Elle King, Alabama Shakes and Lorde.  It's a fun time for sure, but was definitely hot and Sunday we had a massive storm come through, which made me super thankful for my Hunter rain boots!

Sucre has amazing macaroons and other sweets, they also sell the best King cakes in town!
My friend Sarah and I trying on Krewe sunnies-my fave spot!

Bloody Mary's before heading into Jazz Fest on Saturday

Loving all the bands and this strawberry lemonade with firefly in it!  Best dress ever....

Hot Tin bar on top of the Pontchartrain Hotel

College Roomies reunited...

It rained Sunday morning hard-like tornado warning hard. We put on our wellies and headed out that afternoon once they opened the gates.  So happy we didn't miss out on Elle King, Lorde and Tom Petty!

With Love, Magen
