Pete Scobell Giveaway!

Happy Thursday friends!  I have been scouring for new music lately and was fortunate to fully discover the Pete Scobell Band.  I say fully discover, because last year, I was lucky enough to see him during the Patriot Tour.  I have a special fondness for Navy SEALS, since I claim one as my cousin! It was an amazing experience to hear some of their stories and just their sheer tenacity.

Pete Scobell is a Navy SEAL, who suffered a traumatic brain injury during one of his tours overseas.  While recovering, his doctors encouraged him to play music as a form of therapy.  He had a chance encounter with Wynonna Judd, who encouraged his music and was a guiding hand for him to record a full album.  The Pete Scobell band’s album Walkin a Wire will be released this Friday.  He has tapped into a raw nerve that needed to be filled (in my opinion) in country music.  The honesty and raw lyrics make this album a must listen.  My fave songs so far are, "Walkin a Wire" and "Disappear".  You can buy "Walkin a Wire" here on iTunes.  Here is Pete Scoball Band’s video for his single, “Wild”.
