Relish Carolina is a fabulous roaming dinner party that is put on at different venues throughout Charlotte every couple of months. Last Thursday, my friends and I partook in the one hosted at Heist Brewery, titled the Hellish Seafood Boil. We arrived and immediately took part in sipping on delicious cocktails with fun names like Whisky Strong and Champagne Dreams. The appetizers were delivered on old wooden doors and people mingled and exclaimed over the lobster hanging out in a baby pool and the various retiles such as turtles and terrifying snakes (I ran away every time one came near me). We sat down at a long dinner table and prepared ourselves for a feast, seafood that was cooked to perfection, lobster, crab, shrimp and crawfish. It was a wonderful experience and one I hope to repeat!
