Happy 4th of July weekend! This is one of my favorite holidays of the year-a time when friends come down and camp out at the beach. Mama Jill is cooking all our faves, such as blueberry lime pound cake. We will celebrate the actual 4th with a parade at Figure 8, drinks on the beach and big cookout followed by fireworks off the bridge. Basically the best summer week of the year. To top it off, I took the rest of next week off, so the blog will have a little rest.
I am loving Jon Pardi, his new album is amazing and definitely worth a listen! His song, "Head Over Boots" is amazing-but legit, the whole album is great!
