Basics

I love being able to throw on a button down, some jeans and go-this is pretty much my weekend go to outfit.  It requires less thought than my outfits during the week and is super low key.  I'm obsessed with ripped jeans at the moment, even though my mama looked at these shorts and said, "ohhhh lawwwwd look at those holes!"  I'm not sure if she was shocked or horrified that I spent money on ripped shorts-I'm going with maybe a little bit of both :)

Easter Weekend

Love spending time on the porch-mama Jill and I planted almost all the pots on Friday!

The weather was gorgeous-perfect for taking walks on the beach!

Weekend Love.....

I have today off and am taking Monday off for a little long weekend love at the beach.  I plan on soaking up the salt air, going for lots of long walks, sipping champagne and possibly throwing in a dance party.  I am obsessed with Eric Church and Keith Urban's new song, "Raise Em Up."

 

Lately....

This Blue Eyed babe-he melts my heart and I love dressing him-hello live baby doll!

Our Pi Beta Phi Alumnae group was awarded 500 books and we donated them to a local elementary school.  The kids were sooo excited to have their own book to take home!

I made the best salad and vinaigrette ever, but have sadly decided I HATE Kale.  It is sooo uninspiring and I even took the advice of massaging the leaves with olive oil-pass, keeping to my romaine and spinach!
