Happy Mother's Day

This weekend is a celebratory weekend, my cousin Kellie is graduating from UNCW Nursing School Friday and Mother's Day is Sunday, which means we are celebrating Mama Jill ALL WEEKEND LONG!

Mama Jill is known and loved by all that know her.  She is a true gem and a feisty Southern woman, we call her the Queen for a reason.  She is the easiest person to talk to, my voice of reason and most importantly my best friend....I know it sounds super annoying, but we legit just get each other.

Thanks Mom for always supporting me, never pressuring me to be anything other than myself and for being the cool mom among all my friends!  I love you Marmie!

Thanks to one of my favorite blogs, I discovered The Bouqs.  The best place to order fresh flowers to be delivered to a friend or loved one.  They cut the flowers fresh and they are delivered 2-4 days after to ensure fresh flowers unlike the 10-12 days for other retailers.  The flowers are grown next to a volcano to ensure fabulous blooms and rich color, they are also grown on Eco-friendly farms in the USA.  This is a great website to order gorgeous flowers from and super reasonably priced without all the added hidden cost that other websites have!  I've already ordered two bouquets for loved ones!

 

 

 

 

 

Baby Hayes

This weekend was full of events!  A royal baby was born-how beautiful and adorable is she?!?!  Ohhh and how great did Pricess Kate look-hello stunning!  That same morning, Elizabeth Anne was born, one of my good friends sweet baby.  There was the Derby on Saturday, I went to a Derby party that was so much fun.  I learned a lot about fight night-probably more than I ever wanted to know and then to cap off this fun-filled, crazy busy weekend, Sunday we celebrated my best friends baby with a baby shower in Greensboro!  Baby Hayes Elizabeth Wood will be making her debut in June, but until then we made sure that sweet little girl had everything she needed!  Thanks Mama Jill for co-hosting this shower and for just being an all around awesome party thrower!

Sweet Weekend

YAYY for Friday!  My friends and I are meeting for margaritas after work, the perfect way to kick off the weekend on a patio with an ice cold beverage!  It's Derby weekend, which means derby parties on Saturday for those of us who are not attending the races in person.  Sunday, I'm headed to Greensboro.  Mama Jill and I are hosting one of my best friends Megan's baby shower for her sweet baby girl.  Excited to hang with friends and celebrate baby Hayes!  I am loving "Eye" by Brandi Carlile-so raw and the harmonies are amazing!
