Weekend

Happy Friday....FINALLY!  What a long week!  I'm taking my nephew M3 to the beach this weekend to hang out with my parents.  Wish me luck, a 17 month old in the car for over 3 hours.....hopefully he sleeps a lot!  Excited to hang out with the sweet babe, should be a fun-filled weekend!!!  I hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoys Kip Moore's new single, "Dirt Road."  When I saw him in concert last fall, he played this song and I've been waiting forever for him to release it as his new single!  Enjoy!

FLY WHEEL

 I wanted to share with you my new favorite workout, FLY Wheel.  It is one of the best workouts in my opinion, get ready to burn calories, sweat like crazy and have a fabulous cardio intensive workout.  The room is setup with stadium seating bikes, the lights are out except for a spotlight over the instructor and the music is pumping....loudly!!  Everything about the setup is perfect for you to get into the zone and as they say, "Never Coast."  You have the option to compete with others if you care to partake, I personally do, since this pushes me even more!  You use real cycle cleats that lock into the bikes, they have them ready in a cubby that has your bike number on it when you check in.  I encourage you to take a class if there is one near you!!!  The one in Charlotte is absolutely awesome!!!

The Ropes

I have found a new nautical find, The Ropes, a line of handmade jewelry from Maine.  That's right, another sweet made in America product!  The Ropes celebrate Maine's New England coastline using nautical ropes to make cool bracelets that are fun to stack and mix and match.  The best news is that they are sold at my fave spot JCrew!!  

White & Warren

Thanks to the Lilly Pulitzer store in Greensboro, I fell in love with White & Warren last fall.  They have the absolute BEST cashmere sweaters in unique colors and styles.  If you sign up for their emails, you will receive 15% off your first purchase.  I'm definitely plotting what styles I want to add to my collection.  They have a travel wrap that is to die for and will definitely be hitting my closet this fall!!!

Debordieu

Prepare to fall in love with my summer drink of choice.  A family friend fixed this for me and I have Papa Murray whipping them up at the beach on the weekends!  Above, is what we call a Debordieu or a fabulously, delicious Southern drink.  See below on how to make them!

-One Shot of Vodka (your choice, Papa M strictly uses Grey Goose)

-One Shot of Malibu Rum (I'm pretty generous and let it flow over a little)

-Organic Pineapple juice

-Piece of pineapple to add a flourish

***They are deliciously lethal, so watch yourselves!!!
